Outlook Express for the MacAdd New Account1. Tools MenuFrom Outlook Express for Mac's Tools menu, select Accounts
2. AccountsWhen the Accounts window appears, click the New button to continue.
3. Account Setup - Your NameEnter your name as you would like it to appear in outgoing e-mail and click the right arrow button.
4. Account Setup - Intenet E-mail AddressEnter your full email address as shown below. Substitute yourdomain for your actual domain name. Click on the right arrow button ![]() 5. Account Setup - E-mail Server NamesYour incoming and outgoing mail servers should both be set to mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is your e-mail domain name. The incoming mail server type should be set to POP. Be sure that you do not check the setting for "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)". This feature is not currently supported. Click the right arrow button.
6. Account Setup - Internet Mail LogonUnder your Internet Mail Logon, you must enter your full e-mail address for the Account ID, and your password. If you are the sole user of your Mac, we recommend checking the "Save Password" checkbox. If you share your Mac with other users, we strongly advise against checking this setting as other users may have access to your e-mail account. Click the right arrow button.
7. Finishing upEnter a name for the account. You can specify any desirable name for the account. Click the Finish button to complete the setup of your new e-mail account. Edit Existing Account1. Tools MenuFrom Outlook Express for Mac's Tools menu, select Accounts
2. AccountsWhen the Accounts window appears, click once on the name of the configuration you wish to edit so that the configuration is highlighted. (For most users only one configuration will be listed. If you have old unused accounts listed you will want to delete the accounts, Outlook Express for Mac may encounter an error when trying to check an old unused account.) Click on Edit button to continue.
3. Edit AccountUnder Personal information, enter your name as you wish it to appear in outgoing e-mail. Enter your full e-mail address on the line below. For Receiving mail, enter your full e-mail address for the Account ID. The POP server should be set to mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is your e-mail domain name. Enter your password on the line below. For Sending mail, the server should be set to mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is your e-mail domain name. Click the Click here for advanced sending options button to continue.
4. SMTP AuthenticationFlexible Internet SMTP servers require authentication, please check the "SMTP server requires authentication" setting. We recommend for ease of use to select the "Use same settings as incoming mail server" option. Click the OK button.
5. Finishing upClick the OK button to complete the changes to your existing e-mail account configuration.
