EntourageAdd New Account1. Tools MenuFrom Entourage's Tools menu, select Accounts
2. AccountsWhen the Accounts window appears, click the Mail tab and click the New button and select mail account to continue.
3. Account Setup - Your NameEnter your name as you wish it to appear in outgoing e-mail and click the right arrow button.
4. Account Setup - Your E-mail AddressSelect "I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use." Enter your full e-mail address substituting yourdomain for your actual domain name. Click on the right arrow button.
5. Account Setup - Mail ServersThe incoming mail server type should be set to POP. Your incoming and outgoing mail servers should both be set to mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is your e-mail domain name. Click the right arrow button.
6. Account Setup - Account ID and PasswordUnder your logon information, you must enter your full e-mail address for the Account ID, and your password. If you are the sole user of your Mac, we recommend checking the "Save password in my Mac OS keychain" checkbox. If you share your Mac with other users, we strongly advise against checking this setting as other users may have access to your e-mail account. Click the right arrow button.
7. Finishing up - Account NameEnter a name for the account. You can specify any desirable name for the account. Click the Finish button to complete the setup of your new e-mail account.
Edit Existing Account1. Tools MenuFrom Entourage's Tools menu, select Accounts
2. AccountsWhen the Accounts window appears, click once on the name of the configuration you wish to edit so that the configuration is highlighted. (For most users only one configuration will be listed. If you have old unused accounts listed you will want to delete the accounts, Entourage may encounter an error when trying to check an old unused account.) Click on Edit button to continue.
3. Edit AccountUnder the Name field enter your name as you would like it to appear in outgoing e-mail. Enter your full e-mail address on the line below. Under Receiving mail, you must enter your full e-mail address for the Account ID, and your password. If you are the sole user of your Mac, we recommend checking the "Save password in my Mac OS keychain" checkbox. If you share your Mac with other users, we strongly advise against checking this setting as other users may have access to your e-mail account. Your POP and SMTP mail servers should both be set to mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is your e-mail domain name. Click the Click here for advanced sending options button to continue.
4. SMTP Security SettingsFlexible Internet SMTP servers require authentication, please check the "SMTP server requires authentication" setting. We recommend for ease of use to select the "Use same settings as receiving mail server" option. Click the OK button
5. Finishing upClick the OK button to complete the changes to your existing e-mail account configuration.
